1. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to all registrations, ticket purchases, and participation in events organized by
PI360 – The Process Intelligence Network gUG (haftungsbeschränkt)
(hereinafter “PI360”, “we”, “us”).
They also apply to sponsorship agreements unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing.
2. Event Registration and Contract Formation
- Registration for an event is completed via the official registration platform (e.g. Pretix or similar).
- A binding contract is formed upon confirmation of registration and successful payment.
- PI360 reserves the right to reject registrations in justified cases.
3. Ticketing and Pricing
- All ticket prices are stated excluding VAT, unless explicitly indicated otherwise.
- Tickets may be offered in different categories (e.g. Blind, Regular, Late, Academic).
- Reduced tickets (e.g. Academic) require valid proof upon request.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due immediately upon registration.
- Accepted payment methods are those offered during checkout (e.g. credit card, online payment providers).
- If payment is not completed, PI360 may cancel the registration.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Pursuant to §312g para. 2 no. 9 BGB, there is no right of withdrawal for contracts relating to leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date of performance. Ticket purchases for PI360 events are therefore not subject to a statutory right of withdrawal.
- Cancellation policy: Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 60 days are non-refundable.
- If an event is cancelled by PI360, participants will receive a full refund of the ticket price.
6. Ticket Transferability
- Tickets are generally non-transferable. Exceptionally, a ticket may be transferred to another person upon written request to info@pi360.org at least 14 days before the event. PI360 reserves the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for transfers.
- Access is granted only to the registered participant.
- PI360 reserves the right to verify identity at the event.
7. Changes to the Event
PI360 reserves the right to:
- change the event program, speakers, or schedule
- relocate the venue within reasonable limits
- switch to a digital or hybrid format if required
Such changes do not entitle participants to a refund.
8. Cancellation or Force Majeure
If the event cannot take place due to circumstances beyond PI360’s control (e.g. force majeure, government restrictions):
- PI360 may reschedule or cancel the event
- participants will be informed promptly
- in the event of a full cancellation by PI360, participants will receive a full refund of the ticket price paid; in the event of rescheduling, tickets remain valid for the new date
9. Participation Rules (Code of Conduct Reference)
- Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully.
- Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- PI360 reserves the right to exclude participants in case of violations. In such cases, no refund will be issued, unless the exclusion is based on circumstances within PI360’s sole responsibility.
10. Media and Recording
- Events may be photographed, filmed, or recorded.
- Attendees who do not wish to be photographed or filmed are asked to notify the PI360 team at the event registration desk. PI360 will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests. Further details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
- PI360 is liable only for intent and gross negligence.
- For slight negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable damages.
- PI360 is not liable for:
- travel or accommodation costs
- loss of personal belongings
12. Data Protection
- Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR).
- Further details are provided in the Privacy Notice on the website.
13. Sponsorship Terms (High-Level)
For sponsors:
- Sponsorship packages and benefits are defined in separate agreements.
- Ticket allocations and community growth mechanisms may apply.
- Sponsors commit to professional conduct aligned with PI360 values.
14. Intellectual Property
- All event content (presentations, materials, recordings) remains the intellectual property of the respective owners.
- Unauthorized distribution or commercial use is prohibited.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These T&Cs are governed by the laws of Germany.
- Place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of PI360, where legally permissible.
16. Final Provisions
- If individual provisions are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
- Amendments must be made in writing.
